Punishment For Filing False Complaint
In case it is found that any person has filed a false complaint against any public servant or person without having any reasonable ground for filing a complaint and with the
intention of causing any type of loss, damage or harassment, the investigating authority may impose a fine not exceeding five thousand rupees on him.
